Doreen Millichamp - author of The Campfire Boys (Series)

Like winter approaching, Doreen moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba into her fourth quarter of life. Wanting to follower her dream of immortalizing her stories in print, she has accomplished a great deal in her first few years of writing.

With a series of three published books “The Campfire Boys,” she has brought joy and excitement to numerous children, leaving them anxiously waiting for the next book in the series.

She continuously mines the stories from everyone she meets, old and young alike for her inspirations.

Doreen’s short stories and poems have appeared in numerous publications such as:

• Voices, an anthology of Lake Winnipeg Writer’s Group;
• Manitoba Outdoor Edge Magazine; “Dad’s Last Goose Hunt”
• Community Newspapers; Spectator and the Herald

Presenting her stories to a live audience is secondary only to writing them in the first place.

She is presenting her work through “Meet the Author” at schools and bookstores.
